Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains what information I collect through alexhargrove.co and my coaching, why I collect it, and what you can ask me to do with it.

Alex Hargrove Coaching is run by me, Alex Hargrove, as a sole proprietor based in Washington State. When this policy says "I," "me," or "my," it means me. Questions go to alex@hargroveperformance.com.

The short version

  • I collect what I need to book your call and coach you, and nothing more.
  • I never sell your information or share it for advertising.
  • Health and training information is used only to coach you.
  • You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information at any time.

What I collect

When you visit the site

  • Basic usage data through Google Analytics: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location (city or country), and how you arrived. This uses cookies. It doesn't tell me who you are.
  • Standard technical logs kept by my website host, Webflow.

When you book a strategy call

  • Your name, email, and the time you chose (through Calendly).
  • Your answers to the pre-call questions (through Tally). These may include your training history, goals, schedule, and any injuries or health considerations you choose to share.

When you become a client

  • Training data: workouts, lifts, testing results, and progress notes.
  • Body and health information you share, such as measurements, photos, injuries, sleep, and recovery.
  • Nutrition logs, if you use Cronometer as part of coaching.
  • Our messages (through WhatsApp and the coaching app).
  • Billing details. Payments are handled by my coaching platform, Superset, and its payment processor. I never see or store your full card number.

How I use it

  • To schedule and prepare for your strategy call.
  • To design, adjust, and deliver your coaching.
  • To bill you and keep business records.
  • To understand how the site is used so I can improve it.
  • To meet legal and tax obligations.

I don't use your information for automated decisions about you, and I don't sell it.

Health information

Health, injury, and body information is sensitive. I only collect it with your consent, because you choose to share it to be coached, and I use it only for that. It is never shared for marketing. I'm a coach, not a medical provider, so this information isn't part of a medical record.

My Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explains exactly what health information I collect, who handles it, and how to access or delete it.

The tools that handle your information

I use trusted services to run the business. Each one handles your information only to do its job:

  • Webflow: hosts this website
  • Google Analytics: measures site visits

  • Tally: collects pre-call answers
  • Google Meet: video calls
  • Superset: coaching app and payments
  • Cronometer: nutrition logging (clients)
  • WhatsApp: messaging (clients)

These services are based in, or store data in, the United States.

How long I keep it

  • People who book a call but don't start coaching: deleted within 12 months.
  • Clients: kept while we work together and for up to 3 years after coaching ends, for business and tax records. You can ask me to delete health and training information sooner.
  • Analytics data: kept according to Google Analytics settings (14 months).

Your choices and rights

You can ask me to:

  • Show you the information I hold about you.
  • Correct anything that's wrong.
  • Delete your information (except what I must keep for tax records).
  • Stop using your information for a particular purpose.

Email alex@hargroveperformance.com and I'll respond within 30 days. To limit analytics cookies, you can block cookies in your browser or use Google's opt-out tool.

If you're in the EU or UK

I process your information on these legal bases:

  • Contract: to deliver the coaching you signed up for.
  • Consent: for health information you choose to share, and for analytics cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legitimate interests: to run and improve my business.
  • Legal obligation: for tax and business records.

Your information is transferred to and stored in the United States through the services listed above. You also have the right to data portability and to complain to your local data protection authority.

Age

My coaching and this site are for adults 18 and over. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Security

I use reputable services with strong security and limit access to your information to myself. No system is perfectly secure, so if I ever learn of a breach that affects you, I'll tell you promptly.

Changes

If I change this policy, I'll update the date at the top. For significant changes, I'll email current clients.
